Server full - unable to connect

Hi guys,

I just wanted to start and get on your server for a little FH action. (took a rather long break in playing bf)

Now, bf1942.exe and FH used to work fine on my x64 WIN7 machine, until today.

Everytime I try to connect to the server, I just get the message "Server is full" (Server besetzt) and get kicked back into to main menu of the game...

Is this a known problem? What should I do? Please help!

ok guys instant update...

I got rid of the "Server is full" error without changing anything.

But now, there's another problem:

I get connected and the loadscreen appears, gets filled up to 1/3 and then it stops and I get an error message telling me "bf1942.exe is not working any longer" (bf1942.exe funktioniert nicht mehr) and I get kicked to the desktop.

I didn't change anything on my PC since the last time I played and I also just checked, Vanilla works fine!!!

download the NO COMP MODE PATCH ! 256kb

and install it as ADMIN

REBOOT your PC now

and join us on the server !

BTW, you can now play FH up to 1600x1200@32bit Waving Goodbye

If maps should fail to load again, delete the certain maps and re download them !

Das ist das tolle an Windows. Man weis nie ob es am nächsten Tag noch so läuft wie am Tag zuvor.

Seit dem vorletztem update von Microsoft kämpfen mehrere Leute mit exakt diesem Problem.

Wie Dad schon gepostet hat:

MANUAL:

under win 7 run BF1942.exe as admin !

-> right mouse click on Icon, properties -> make a check "run as admin"

THEN

download the NO COMP MODE PATCH ! 256kb

and install it as ADMIN

REBOOT your PC now

and join us on the server !

Ja, das Problem hatte ich gestern auch plötzlich.
Beim Mapchange BF exe funktioniert nicht mehr.
Dann beim wieder laden Server full.
Mehrmals versucht, half nicht.
PC runtgerfahren, warten, neu starten und alles ist wieder o.k.

Ich bin fest der Überzeugung, das WIN den chache bzw. die Speicher nicht sauber leert und deshalb immer mal Reste überbleiben
und sich BF dann erhängt.
Wäre zu prüfen.

jetzt fällt mir was ein.
dieser totenkoph hacker hat uns mal zugehackt und was ausgelöst, das genau diese meldung "server full" kam, obwohl genaug platz da war.
das riecht gerade zu nach hack again. scratch chin

ja aber das kann er nicht mehr seitdem wir die server exe auch gegen den Exploit gepatched haben

create local player
create team 3
etc is safe mode hier

Habe es im Galland Thread schon geschrieben - Toolbox angeworfen und betreffende Map drübergebügelt und hat funktioniert. Bei mir crasht es in letzter Zeit auch
des öfteren obwohl mein System rockstable ist was FH1 betrift. Vielleicht ist es auch ein Treibergschichtl weil alle scheinen das Problem nicht zu haben oder?

Man darf halt nicht vergessen das Game ist 10 JAHRE alt. Das ist tiefste Steinzeit für ein Programm. Und ich glaube außer ein paar Nostalgiker haben doch schon
viele W7 am laufen. Für mich als Laie ein Wunder dass das überhaupt sol läuft wie,s läuft.

sry für ot: wer hat mir die australienflagge spendiert? wie bekomme ich die geändert?
